THREE HUNDRED NINETY-NINE.

You know Sir Terence Conran because of his significant and exceptional contributions to both the design and restaurant world. He has selected 54 design classics of the 20th century, as part of a new collection that will be shown in two new exhibits at the London Conran Shops in Chelsea and Marylebone, opening this September in London. The even cooler thing? There is an accompanying catalog which features members of the Conran family posing with the furniture - equally talented and significant with their contributions in their own fields. There's also an excellent article in the Telegraph here, featuring not only more on Conran's exhibits but asking the question: what signicant pieces would other top designers acquire as classic pieces.
