Yes, it's now February and Christmas is more than sort of irrelevant. But Tunnel – Christmas Stories, an installation by Travesias de Luz, was carried out last December in the main corridor of the Old Prison building in Segovia as part their cultural Christmas program. This installation was made with 5,000 Tetra Brik recycled cartons, then joined together forming round curtain-like walls along the prison´s entrance, and finally lit. Also a fun fact? Many were able to participate in the installation by die-cutting the different ‘esgrafiados’, the engravings seen on the different sections. You can see more here as well.
