<p><span><em><a href="http://www.nilsvoelker.com/content/captured/index.html" target="_blank">Captured: An Homage to Light and Air</a>&nbsp;</em>is <span><a href="http://www.nilsvoelker.com/projects.html" target="_blank"><span>Nils</span></a></span>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<span><a href="http://www.svenvoelker.com/Sven_Voelker_Studio_Berlin.html" target="_blank"><span>Sven V&ouml;lker</span></a></span>&rsquo;s recent installation, shown at the MADE Space in Berlin. The installation is a collaboration between the brothers. It involves a combination of four walls with 304 framed graphic pages that then surround a field of 252 inflatable silver cushion-like air bags. The bags were programmed &nbsp;to create sequences according to chapters of Sven's &ldquo;books on wall&rdquo;. <p><span>In her cut-out correspondence series, <a href="http://annievought.com/category/art/paper-cuts/">Annie Vought</a>&nbsp;collects and recounts various hand scrawled notes, letters that&nbsp;she has found, written, or received. She first enlarges each correspondence&nbsp;onto a large piece of paper, then carefully cuts the negative space out to preserve the integrity of the letter. <p>Street Seats, a furniture project by Bade Stageberg Cox for the Pier 94 Coffee Bar at The Armory Show refurbishes found chairs and paints them in taxi cab yellow. The project features 50 chairs found abandoned on the streets, and each is stamped and documented with the date and location it was recovered.
